If hazard pegs are missing or removed in line with Rule 33-2a then the following thought process should be applied - Lines and stakes defining the margins of a water hazard should be placed as nearly as possible along the natural limits of the hazard, i.e., where the ground breaks down to form the depression containing the water.
Mike Dunphy has rejoined us after a hip operation.
And after many years Craig Smith has rejoined us.
FROM THE PRO-SHOP

FROM THE COURSE SUPERINTENDANT- Sam O’Keefe
Another year of various championships and green acres has come and gone and I’ve been very happy with how we were able to present the course through this extremely busy time. The grass has been growing as fast as ever due to the October rain and early warmth, but as a whole I think we have done a pretty good job of keeping on top of it.
The greens were vertidrained last Tuesday and I’m very happy with how quickly they have recovered. This process should insure that the greens are held in great condition through the summer months.
We are now in full irrigation mode and as always as the pump is first fired up for the summer we do get the odd leak in our old pipes. A number of these leaks will be attended to over the coming days.
Spraying of the fairways will commence in the coming week to target clover and flat weeds. As we can’t mow 2 days prior to spraying and 2 days after, some fairways will be longer than normal. I thank you for your patience through this time
FROM CHEF MICHAEL
Hi everyone, couple of things. Firstly I would like to sincerely thank all the members who gave terrific feedback regarding Greenacres, I had a blast, everything went smoothly and I was more than happy with what we presented for the entire weekend. Secondly this Friday we have a large fund raiser function in the dining room which encompasses a carvery, so therefore we will be offering the members a 2 course carvery in place of regular bistro for $25.00. One other thing , no bistro will be available the following week due to club presentations. Cheers Mick.
