In March 2025, we reopened Friday Night Dining to the members and public, focusing on great food and pricing. We have now extended our dining to the following:

Tuesday: Lunch from 11am

Wednesday: Lunch and Dinner from 11am

Friday: Dinner from 5pm

Saturday: Lunch and Dinner from 9:30am

Riverside Golf Club, as a venue, lends itself to a welcoming atmosphere, with captivating views over the golf course, visible from both the dining room, and Panorama Bar.

With perfect surroundings, a picturesque backdrop for those treasured photos, the Freeland Room at the Riverside Golf Club lends itself to that special atmosphere that will make your wedding day a very memorable occasion.

Riverside offers a diverse range of packages tailored to your needs and the club is recognised as being one of Launceston’s premier wedding venues.

A traditional wedding package offers the following:

• Hot and cold canapés on guest’s arrival
• Choice of 2 or 3 course set menu
• Hot roast carvery or buffet style
• Coffee, tea and chocolate station
• Tables and room set to meet the client’s specifications
• White skirted bridal and cake table
• White linen table cloths
• Napkin colour at client’s request

If a garden wedding is desirable, you may exchange vows amongst our lush lawns with panoramic views of the golf course. All ceremony packages include a registry table and seating.

For example you can enjoy a traditional sit down wedding breakfast, a barbecue or numerous other options. A wedding cocktail package features free room hire with a generous selection of various hot and cold chef’s canapés or alternatively hand held buffet items.

• Use of our picturesque course, garden and buggies for your photos
• Catering for special dietary requirements
• Meals for children and entertainers

We strive to offer service second to none and will work closely with you to ensure that your experience with us is stress free to make your special day as memorable as possible.

The Riverside Golf Club hosts Friday Dining which are open to both members and the general public. Seating times are between 6pm and 8pm, and booking numbers will be limited in the beginning, to ensure all our guests receive the best possible service we can provide. 

Friday Dining is a casual affair, with menus changing frequently, and a special kids menu!

We welcome bookings of up to 10 adults – any more than 10 guests, please contact us for group booking pricing.

Enjoy refreshments in our comfortable surroundings with stunning views. Our Panorama Bar is fully licensed with a good range of draught and bottled beers available, together with a choice of fine wines and an extensive range of refreshing soft drinks.

Bar snacks will also be available from 3pm – 6pm on Wednesdays + Saturdays.

Members receive discounted price on drinks. If you like the atmosphere but do not play golf – we do offer a non-playing social membership which offers use of the clubhouse facilities.
